That just means that the issue was completely pointless. Normaly I don' care if an issue "matters" or "counts", but every other issue of Illuminati set up future stories except this one, so that just makes it a waste. Yup… Folks have got to get over this whole idea that a story is pointless if it doesn’t make massive game-changing ripples in a continuity 50 years running. If you enjoyed the story… if you hated the story… if you are still thinking about it, then it wasn’t pointless.
